NYAMBI EBIE

Advisor

President and Founder Dr Nyambi Ebie, MD, is an Oncologist Specialist whose penchant to save lives has clearly infected his entire family, leading to the setting up of the foundation for FECH.

Dr. Ebie has been in philanthropic ventures for decades. When the average Cameroonian had not heard of or seen a computer, Dr. Ebie donated the first batch of computers to his alma mater, St. Joseph’s College, Sasse, in the South West Region of Cameroon. The package came with an American high school teacher who spent time introducing and teachers at English-speaking Cameroon’s oldest secondary school to the use of computers.

The Ebie family were part of a group which mobilized over $400,000 in medical supplies shipped from the United States to the Acha-Tugi Presbyterian Hospital in the North West Region of Cameroon.

Far from exhausting the human development accomplishments, Dr Ebie who is the spouse of Mafo Marie Ebie says of their children’s active involvement in and contributions to the Foundation: “We are glad that our children have adopted our values and are able to identify ways of helping others”.
